Rob & Glenys really live up to their motto " we treat your pets as our own"

​

Glenys and Rob Laidler have been running Sampenny Kennels & Cattery for over eighteen years.  Both Glenys and Rob are the principle persons at the kennels with assistance from Carla and Graeme.

​

They have a genuine love of animals, putting a lot of time and interaction into all pets under their care, never just putting them in a cage and leaving them there.

 

Sampenny was the natural lifestyle change for Rob after a lifetime of working in the banking industry.   His customers often consider him to be sort of a "dog whisperer" because of the way their pets respond to him. 

 

Along with running the business, Rob has been a member of the Sunbury Rotary for twenty-eight years as well as being a past president. He takes a lot of pride in local issues always involving himself in bettering the community. 

 

As well as working with the dogs, Glenys takes a real pride in looking after the cattery, dedicating her whole time during the busy periods, maintaining and spending time with the cats.  She finds it very rewarding and peaceful working amongst the occasional meow and rub against the leg!!​

 

Rob and Glenys employ casual staff during the peak seasons and all staff are trained to have the same work ethics and must be animal lovers!
